Aileen Jo Artero is the Chairperson for the Guam Juvenile Justice Advisory Council and has been a member of the local SAG since 2005 as a youth representative. Aileen's passion for youth services started back in 1999 as a youth camp counselor and has grown through her employment by the Guam Department of Youth Affairs as a juvenile mentor for at-risk youth and youth in the Aftercare program. She has since graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, minor in Sociology and most recently a Professional Masters in Business Administration both from the University of Guam. She is currently employed with Moylan's Insurance as their Off-Island Referral Coordinator. She is a member of the Guam Young Professionals, a subcommittee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce and is also active in her church ministries. She has served as an alternate voting member on the FACJJ for the last 4 years and now joins us as a primary member for the region of American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas. With the influence of many cultural values in the region, Aileen hopes to bring to light the concerns of the region and in return offer viable solutions and practices to address these concerns.
