Aris Johnson has 38 years of professional experience in the field of juvenile justice. He began as a Juvenile Supervision Officer in the Harrison County Juvenile Detention Center. His career has progressed over the years, and he is currently employed as the Deputy Chief of the Gregg County Juvenile Probation Department, where he has served for almost 24 years.
Prior to working in Gregg County, Aris worked with the Juvenile Probation Department in Harrison County for 14 years, holding positions of Detention Superintendent and Chief Juvenile Probation Officer.
Aris received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Tyler.
