Tim Brurud is the Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line in Havre, Montana. He has worked at the Club since they opened their doors on July 1, 2002. Tim started out as program staff and worked in all areas of the Club before becoming the Director in 2005. Before working at the Club, Tim was a Physics and Chemistry teacher in small schools in Montana. In addition to his duties at the Club, Tim has been appointed by Governor Steve Bullock to serve as the Vice-Chair of the State Youth Justice Council, and he serves on the executive committee of the Montana Afterschool Alliance. He has also served as an afterschool ambassador for the National Afterschool Alliance. He is an alumnus of the White-Riley-Peterson Policy Fellowship and is currently a Robert Woodruff Fellow working on his Masters of Public Administration degree through the University of Montana.
Tim has been married to his wife Susan for 26 years and has four children, Connor 23, Katie, 22 Xander 19, and Emily 16. He lives with his family, 3 horses, 2 goats, 2 cats and very large black dog on a small farm outside of town.
